About Lynn’s Unique Techniques
Why Learn From Lynn
I came to yoga to alleviate pain in my body. I had no idea of the changes that would almost magically occur in my life simply from incorporating yoga into my routine. Not only did my lower back pain resolve itself, my whole being changed from this awesome practice. I became happier, much healthier, made new friends, felt inspired, stronger and more open. My posture changed, my core strengthened, my energy level rose, and with that so did my sense of confidence. My business improved. Relationships became more honest. I had been afraid to speak in front of groups, and suddenly was not only teaching yoga, but took my coaching and training business to the next level, as well. I had no idea so many great things could occur from doing yoga, but I am a living example that yoga can alter your life for the better!
The benefits of yoga are well known. Many people do yoga to reduce stress, improve mood, increase focus, to become stronger physically or to produce more balance and flexibility in the body. However, practicing yoga does even more than this.
The definition of yoga is union. Through yoga movements and postures, as well as, the breathing and meditative practices, yoga is the place where the physical and spiritual energies merge. So not only does yoga invigorate us to deliberately physicalize more peace, love, creativity, strength and goodness, but through the consistent practice of yoga, you will find yourself uniting more with your own soul. You may experience yourself aligning more fully with your gifts, talents and personal power and offering them more generously out into the world.
The mind and body are both fortified by yoga. In fact, just as the mind affects the body, it is now understood that the body can profoundly affect the mind. As the body becomes healthier and stronger, so does the mind. This is why many yogis are pleasant, sincere, balanced, and humble, yet confident people, despite life’s challenges.
Yoga allows for the energies living in the body to flow and move. People with a regular yoga practice often notice significant improvement in their well-being and in their life. This is because the energies that have been locked in the body can now emerge, be felt and freed to create positive outcomes in your life. Try it and see for yourself!
